Project Description:

Sunset Bible Camp is an established Christian summer camp for children from age 8 up through high school. It is owned and operated by 40 Christian Churches within a 50-mile radius of the camp. Its current facilities include a dining hall, two dormitories, a covered recreational area, and a home for the on-site manager. The camp has experienced a great deal of growth over the past 10 years, and plans to expand to accommodate the existing attendance and future growth that it anticipates. It also accommodates weekend seminars for businesses and churches during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.

Dormitories 2,024 sf each

Construction of four 30-bed dormitory units began in August of 2002, with completion in the spring of 2003

Administration Building 2,394 sf

This building will provide badly needed space for the camps' office workers, the camp nurse, and staff quarters.

Multipurpose Building 8,915 sf

This building will provide indoor recreational for campers, and meeting space for seminar groups meeting at the camp. It will also provide a larger chapel space for the campers than they presently have.

Dining Hall Expansion 6,278 sf

The dining hall expansion will help the camp serve larger groups of people at one time, eliminating the need for multiple dining situations for campers, and also will provide additional meeting space in the dining hall.
